  MSU Extension and the Michigan Potato Industry Commission would like to invite all producers, agribusinesses, and community members to join us for a field day at the Montcalm Research Farm!

  In-Person Southwest Michigan Seed Treatment Workshop

  August 18, 2025 8:00AM – 1:00PM 57418 Co Rd 681 Suite A, Hartford, MI 49057

  This in-person workshop will provide education on treating seed with pesticides. Category 4 RUP credits have been requested.

  Learn about pest management and scouting, irrigation, grazing management, and updates on NRCS funding opportunities and programs. RUP and CCA credits are available.

  MSU and industry researchers will discuss current issues impacting dry beans and sugarbeets, including weed and insect resistance issues, varietal advances and production practices in dry bean, soil fertility strategies and pathology issues in sugarbeet.
