Yueyue received her bachelor’s degree in ecology in College of Resources and Environmental Sciences, China Agricultural University. Now she is a PhD student in Physical Geography, College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University, China.
In the past, she mainly conducted researches on eco-environmental sustainability of coupled human and natural systems within China, involving three-dimensional ecological footprint and natural capital utilization, landslide hazard and the associated ecological risk, mountainous region exploitation and the eco-carrying potential, urban PM2.5 dynamics and the driving factors. Her future research interest will focus on the telecoupling and meta-coupling among China and other countries via tools such as food trade and virtual water flows.
