Richard Wooten
Richard Wooten is the MSU Extension district coordinator for MSU Extension District 11 Wayne County. He was formerly an MSU Extension Educator working in the area of Community and Economic Development for District 11, and previously, the Wayne County Extension Director until his role change in July 2010. Prior to working with MSU Extension, Wooten was a Planning Director for more than seven years. He also was a Senior Planner with the City of Detroit. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning from Norfolk State University and a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University.
