Rebecca Calkins
Rebecca Calkins is a Michigan State University Extension Community Nutrition Instructor serving both Jackson and Washtenaw counties. She is a communications and strategic planning professional dedicated to fostering community engagement and social change. As a Jackson native, she is passionate about addressing demographic disparities and increasing access to services for both mental and physical health. She earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and French from Ball State University and a master’s degree in Digital Marketing from Full Sail University. With expertise in social media, project management, and public health initiatives, Rebecca works to build partnerships, develop data-driven strategies, and create impactful messaging to support youth and underserved communities. She is an advocate for equity, a social media enthusiast and an avid traveler.
