Lyndsey Schmitt
Lyndsey Schmitt is a Community Nutrition Instructor in Muskegon County. She earned her master’s degree in public health, with an emphasis in health promotion, from Grand Valley State University. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She has experience with food assistance programs, such as SNAP/EBT and Double Up Food Bucks, and helps with the Food Recovery Program at the Fulton Street Market in Grand Rapids as the Food Access Coordinator. Lyndsey is excited to utilize her passion for food access and nutrition education, as well as her experience with community engagement and food systems, to support the Muskegon community through the EFNEP grant.
