Current Research: Community Engagement, Crime Prevention through Environmental Design, Active Shooter Prevention, Virtual Reality, Museum Studies, Implicit Bias and Microaggressions, Community Policing, Violence Type II in Emergency Departments

Methods: spatial analysis (GIS/Remote Sensing); quantitative analysis (Survey Research); qualitative methods (interviews, case analysis); space syntax/ visibility graph analysis; eye tracking and emotion facial expression analysis

Additional Interests: Violence in schools and campuses, correctional facilities, infectious disease transmissions in healthcare settings, workplace performance and productivity, autonomous vehicles, facilities for people with Alzheimer’s disease
