In 2020, Katelyn earned her bachelor's degree in English with a focus in Education and a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Michigan State University. She later taught 9th and 10th grade English at Owosso High School before joining the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition in 2023 as the Undergraduate Program Coordinator. Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys to read, travel, and spend time with friends and family.

• Undergraduate actions (degree changes, overrides, etc.)​
• Undergraduate scholarships ​
• FSHN Classroom scheduling / Course corrections / Grade submission support
• Travel, purchase, Office Coordinator backup support ​
• Plan/Coordinate the annual spring awards ceremony​
• Provide support for the senior picnic and other departmental events
• Department swag requests
