Key Resources

Extension professionals are adult educators, guided by principles of adult learning and adept at using learning activities that actively involve participants in their learning, build on their expertise, and have immediate impact on their lives. Some favorite resources include:

• The Center for Teaching at Vanderbilt University has excellent teaching guides. 
• #iteachmsu is a platform, a movement, and a hashtag meant to create connection among educators at MSU. Share, connect, and learn!
• Adult Learning & Teaching is a PDF that summarizes five key learning principles and presents dozens of ideas for actively engaging the learners and anchoring the learning in their memories.
