Join the Michigan Farm to ECE Network this August 11–14 for Plant, Grow, Share: A Farm to ECE Workshop Series. Four engaging virtual sessions will focus on bringing farm-to-ECE practices into your classroom. Learn practical ways to introduce children to gardening, nutrition, and local food systems—while earning a $100 stipend for your participation in at least 3 of the 4 sessions! Each session takes place from 10 am to 12 pm ET.
This first workshop in the four-part series will focus on nutrition and agricultural education in early care and education settings. In this session, learn how to incorporate agriculture into your curriculum with taste tests, farm books, sensory play, and more.
This series of virtual workshops will feature interactive sessions, peer-to-peer learning and mentorship, as well as exciting opportunities to connect with farmers and collaborate with early childhood providers across Michigan.
