MLFCN October Monthly Meeting

Please join us for the next MLFCN network call this week.  We’ll have a facilitated discussion that gives participants an opportunity to reflect and share learnings on building supportive group culture.  If we’re not intentionally creating and maintaining culture, we can revert to embodying cultural norms that have been getting baked in for a really long time – this is one-way white supremacy culture gets perpetuated which has a big impact on group cohesion and engagement.  We’ll look at intentionally stewarding culture for our groups that supports us to build capacity, collaborate with joy, and counteract white supremacy culture.

The call will also include state and federal legislative updates and conclude with offers, requests, and connections. Please let Keesa (johns253@msu.edu), Kolia (ksouza@msu.edu) or Jordan (lindsa57@msu.edu) know if there are topics you want to discuss on future calls.
