Join the Michigan Local Food Council Network for our monthly phone/video conference, featuring topics and speakers relevant to the work of councils across the state. We will share federal and state legislative updates and include time to discuss offers, requests and connections among councils.
The Michigan Local Food Council Network (MLFCN) is resuming its regular meetings, which will include updates on state and federal policy, as well as a rotating workshop, story, or network presentation.
In response to the many concurrent advocacy needs across the state, this month’s meeting will feature a workshop focused on helping participants develop effective outreach messages—whether related to school meals, farm policy, or other efforts aimed at ensuring Michigan residents have access to nutritious food.
