The MSU Extension mission statement states, “Michigan State University helps people
improve their lives through an educational process that applies knowledge to critical
issues, needs and opportunities.” The Barry County – MSU Extension Annual
Report brings this mission to life for county commissioners and residents. The data and
stories within show how education is impacting lives in Barry County. As you will see in
this report, Barry County and MSU Extension form an integrated partnership serving
