Accounting for Food Businesses Webinars

January 13, 2025

Recorded in 2021 to support food-based businesses engaged in programs at Eastern Market Corporation in Detroit, Michigan, the series of five recordings focuses on financial statements, an introduction to QuickBooks, supplemental financial statements that are often requested when applying for business loans, as well as an overview of record keeping and business taxes. These videos can be a great resource for operators working in incubator and shared-use kitchens who seek to organize and understand their business' financial records.

The videos were facilitated by Certified Public Accountant, Dale Grant, Ashton Business Consulting, and sponsored by Lake Trust Credit Union. This resource is provided as part of the assistance programs offered by MSU Center for Regional Food Systems.
