Abstract: This paper sorts out and summarizes the research on ecological civilization at home and abroad. Based on Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, combined with the development status of Ningbo City, using the coupling development model, the evaluation system of ecological civilization construction is constructed through SPSS software. In 2018, a comprehensive evaluation was made on the level of ecological civilization construction. The research results showed that the overall level of ecological civilization construction is on the rise, and the growth rate of ecological civilization construction slowed down after 2017. Therefore, the article finally puts forward the main measures to do a good job in the construction of ecological civilization, such as improving the level of urban and rural environmental construction, building an ecological economic system with the rural economy as the main body, and improving the ecological protection system.
