Several faculty and staff have had questions about their phones becoming unregistered frequently from the MSU Wireless 3.0 network, which is the wireless network that staff and faculty should be using and not MSU Net Guest. The issues are likely due to a network address randomization feature in modern mobile devices. Apple implemented this measure to protect the privacy of iphone users and randomization is available also on android devices.
