Are you an apple grower, or are you wondering what average costs are for Michigan apple growers? Join us as we review the 2025 Michigan Apple Cost of Production study conducted this year by MSU Extension.

During the webinar, we will cover the main results of the study, reviewing the establishment and production costs found for Michigan orchards.

Breakdowns by cost category will be illustrated, along with breakeven prices and per-bushel costs for different yields. Our report includes information on high-density and semidwarf training systems as well as high-value (Honeycrisp) and mid-value variety tier apples (Gala, Fuji, other fresh apples).

We will also discuss how to make adjustments that apply the study results to your specific farm. Using examples, we will walk through how to make calculations for different farm scenarios as well.

Please click here to register for the live webinar, or join the Zoom meeting at this link (passcode “farm”).  This webinar will be recorded and later posted on the MSU Extension website, so it can be accessed anytime.
