Aiding our threatened forests: Managing for complexity and resilience to multiple interacting stressors

This presentation will detail research focused on understanding factors that drive tree and forest response to global change (including climate change and related and interacting disturbances and stressors) and how that understanding can be applied in managing forests for resilience and adaptation. Specifically, we seek to understand forest structure-function relationships, how these relationships are affected by disturbance and tree species losses, and the effect of multiple interacting and
compounding stressors on forest functioning and resilience
