Mass Timber Research at MSU: Addressing Needs in Workforce Development
MassTimber@MSU provides a cross-campus platform for research, education, and outreach collaboration focused on addressing high-priority needs within the broader mass timber construct. This presentation will give a broad overview of this cross-campus, industry-engaged collaboration and take a deep dive into MSU’s leadership in workforce development-related programming. These efforts are focused on 2- and 4-year curriculum development, professional development for educators, and the provision of international experiences.
