Seminar Title: "Assessing pathogen resilience in the food supply: toward improved control measures"

Teresa Bergholz earned her PhD in Food Science from Michigan State University in 2007. She was a postdoctoral researcher in the Food Safety Lab at Cornell University until 2012, when she joined the faculty in the Department of Microbiological Sciences at North Dakota State University. She returned to MSU in 2020 as an associate professor in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition. Her research encompasses multiple areas of food safety microbiology, including fresh produce safety and low moisture food safety.
