Try a variety of fun, beginner-friendly folk dances at beautiful Tollgate Farm in Novi! This lively series for adults and teens features a variety of dance types—each evening filled with music, movement, and community spirit. No experience needed—just bring your energy and a smile!
Contra Dance
Join us for a lively evening of music, movement, and community at Tollgate Farm in Novi! Our Folk Dance at the Farm series continues with a classic Contra Dance—perfect for beginners and seasoned dancers alike.
Join us in Tollgate's Historic Barn to kick up your heels and have root-tootin' good time! Contra dances share some moves with square dancing but are done in a line of couples, not a square. This beginner-friendly event is geared to any adult or teen who enjoys dancing or would like to try something new. Perfect for a night out with friends, date night, or family night with teens. No need to bring a partner, we'll make sure everyone has a chance to dance!

Tickets:
- $8.00 Early Bird (through October 30)
- $10.00 Walk-In (cash or card at the door)
Tickets are non-refundable.

- All dances are beginner-friendly—no experience needed!
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- No children under the age of 13 permitted.
