Open only to students majoring in Landscape & Nursery Management, Landscape Management, Turfgrass Management, Horticulture Landscape Design, Construction, and Management, and Landscape Architecture.

Course Objectives

Present a national overview of the Landscape and Turf Profession (Industry) and the diversity of services it provides to residential, commercial and municipal markets.
Examine resources available to Industry businesses such as: professional associations, websites, books, periodicals, etc.
Become familiar with standard business practices within the Industry.
Be familiar with regulatory and compliance issues impacting business operations.
