2024 Mole Drains Field Day

Mole drains are a low-cost practice to improve the soil physical property and drainage performance. Moling is very suitable in heavy clay soil with a minimum of 45% clay content and less than 20% sand at the mole depth.
Here’s what to expect:
•In-field demonstration creating mole drains
•Creating 18-24 inches deep channels for additional sub-surface drainage
•Can be used in tiled or non-tiled fields
•Excellent for clay soils
•A cheap option for field drainage
